I have recently retired in April from PG&E after over 30 years with the company beginning as a Groundman in 1985 on a production digger. I rose quickly from Lineman, to sole street light maintenance person for our area, to Compliance Inspector and finally to Troubleman for my last six years. During my time as a Lineman, I also temporarily served as an M&C Supervisor for the line department for approximately 18 months.
Go 95 ,128 trained Compliance Inspector for 5 years Troubleman for 6 years Journeyman Lineman 16 years first line supervisor for 18 months for electric line department (M&C) with Pacific Gas & Electric, Operated single bucket on and off for street light maint. for 9 years . retired April 1st this year with over 30 years. Have worked for Calinc-services for 9 months

|As a troubleman, I responded to all calls related to power outages, as well as performed routine maintenance. I assessed distribution and transmission problems, installed services, disconnected services, repaired storm damaged electrical equipment, switching field and sub station, street light maintenance, assisted crews in restoring electrical power, service work and inspections. I was also dispatched to areas outside my own and was among the crews sent to Long Island during super storm Sandy. as a Compliance Inspector in Auburn for 5 years , I performed go 95 and 128 inspections and patrols. these included regular overhead and helicopter patrols. Underground included infrared and minor maintenance.|
