Hands-on knowledge of construction projects from concept to final completion. Trained in IEEE Inspection of Overhead Transmission Line Installation. Ability to supervise outside construction personnel in all phases of high-voltage equipment installation. Maintain records for completion of as-built drawings on assigned projects. • Assist in coordination of construction activities with landowners, contractors, and company personnel. • Assist engineers in designs of substation and transmission projects as requested. • Assist in the obtaining and verification of easements for substation and transmission projects. • Field checks easements to verify placement of equipment and encroachments. . • For assigned work, assists in creating specifications, reviewing bid documents, and evaluation of bids received. • Assist in troubleshooting and may provide technical advice during repair activities as assigned. • Assist in preparation and upkeep of construction standards for transmission lines and substations.
