|Completed my apprenticeship with Southern California Edison Transmission department to Journeyman Lineman Status. Held numerous upgrade positions as Service Crew Foreman and Crew Foreman both in the Transmission and Distribution Dept. in the Antelope Valley District. Performed new construction and maintenance on wood and steel structures-60 KV to 500 KV throughout SCE's service territory; Line man-Transmission Patrol-Antelope Valley, Lineman-Distribution Antelope Valley.|

|Worked in the capacity of Lineman, Transmission Crew Foreman, Safety Supervisor overseeing the entire electrical operations of the Sierra Pacific Power Operations. Base of operations was out of Reno and my coverage area was the entire Northern State of Nevada encompassing all crews within Sierra's Service Territory. We serviced all Transmission and Distribution Construction, Maintenance and Emergency Response in all conditions; fire, storm and heat. Supervised office administrative staff that reported to the Operations Vice President.|

|Organized Construction and Maintenance Projects on PG&E and Southern California Edison's Systems from Distribution to Transmission and Fiber Optics. Conducted Project Management with Bechtel on Sacramento Municipal Utilities System ahead of major Fiber Optic Build throughout SMUD System. General Foreman over 230kv Transmission and Fiber Optic Conductor Projects insuring SAG operations and Quality Control of up to 35 union employees working under my direction, reported to Operations Managers within PAR and the various utility customers on job status, safety conditions and project coordination.|

|From inception of the Bark Beetle Project, Lake Arrowhead, Ca. I was the Project Lead for DUSI with Southern California Edison, organized, instituted and coordinated startup operations of Power Line Removal, Reroute, and Clearance Operations in Arrowhead and Idyllwild in conjunction with the Bark Beetle Tree Removal Project. Oversaw all aspects of the operation from Planning, Circuit Clearance Operations, Crew Manning and Coordination and Accountability/Reporting to SCE. Worked closely with US Forest Service regarding environmental concerns adhering to their guidelines and restrictions. Participated greatly in community, customer outreach and communications in regards to impact, timeline and scope of project. General Foreman oversight 230kv reconductor project – SDG&E. |
|Helicopter Power Line Construction Project Lead that cultivated customers, initiated contracts, set up logistics and assisted in Power Line Construction work for numerous power line contractors, ie: Sturgeon Electric, PAR Electric, ILB Construction, Sorensen Construction and Western Area Power Association along with all contract duties involved with these projects, I flew various aspects of the projects as well as relocating aircraft throughout the western United States. I hold a Commercial Helicopter License as well as a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate.|

|Oversaw Electrical Distribution and Maintenance Projects for Southern California Edison in Ventura, San Jacinto, Santa Barbara Districts which included Deteriorated Pole Change Outs, Reconductoring and Circuit Conversion. Was Project Manager over 2 High Profile Circuit Conversions in the Santa Barbara District; La Cumbre and Cravins, Carpentaria. Both Power line of these projects demanded a very high level of initial, scheduling, logistics and coordination with District, Community Leaders and Business Owners. Upon inception of operations, strategic oversight was imperative to the commitments to the for mentioned entities. Constant customer and relations was imperative for the success of the project as an extension of Southern California Edison. Both of these projects were completed on time and with a spotless safety record. During these projects we also assisted Southern California Edison with a heat storm response that did not interrupt our schedule.
|Completed to total safety, productivity, profitability and customer (Bonneville Power Administration) satisfaction with three 500kv substation expansion projects. Two involving spare transformer installation/phase separation projects (Ponderosa & Alvey Stations) and major yard/control house expansion to accommodate a new 500kv circuit related to the Big Eddy – Knight Wind generation project. Held a NERC – SIP Qualified Electrical worker status with BPA allowing my unescorted access to all BPA substations and facilities. Supervise a green field 230kv switch yard and 1.3 double circuit 230kv tie line – the first solar project in Calexico, Ca. |
