Compliance Inspector Northern California The Compliance Inspector responsibilities include Overhead and Underground Electrical Distribution visual inspection. Compliance inspectors must be familiar with GO 95, GO 128 and GO 165 standards. The Compliance Inspector role will include some manual work elements including but not limited to: Lifting of Underground vault covers, minor repair work on wooden poles (not to exceed 8'), vault water pumping etc.
Electrical Line Inspector Northern California The Electrical Line Inspector job is responsible for overseeing the safe building and maintaining electric power lines, both distribution and transmission, to all relevant state, federal and client codes. This position is represented by IBEW 1245.
Protective Relay Test Tech Nationwide The work performed in this department has direct impact on the electric system reliability as well as employee and public safety. The Journeyman Relay Protection Electrical Technician will perform installations, field testing, and maintenance of protective relay equipment, relay carriers, supervisory equipment, station apparatus, instruments, remote and local control devices and associated wiring. The Relay Protection Electrical Technician will work on protective relays and associated equipment will ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable and NERC Reliability Standards compliant operation of generating plants and transmission networks. The Journeyman Relay Protection Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing work involving an extremely high degree of complexity, including troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, calibrating, and maintaining components of protective relay systems (microprocessor and electro-mechanical); substation and electric utility protection systems; station automation and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Candidate must be proficient in understanding and deciphering electrical drawings/schematics station automation and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).

This position is represented by IBEW 47. CANUS inspects for visual pole integrity, asset management data discrepancies (including GPS location), cross arm angle and integrity, joint pole cable management, signage, vegetation clearance, insulator integrity, guy wire integrity, etc.
